  • Oncology center services.

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment.

Medical labs and testing services are essential components of the healthcare system. One of the fundamental services offered by medical labs is diagnostic testing, which involves analyzing biological samples to identify the presence or absence of a disease or medical condition. This can include blood tests, urine tests, genetic testing, and imaging tests, among others. Diagnostic testing is crucial for disease prevention, early detection, and treatment, as it provides healthcare professionals with critical information about a patient's health status. Additionally, medical labs also perform routine tests, such as cholesterol and glucose level checks, to help patients monitor their health and make informed decisions about their lifestyle and medical care. Overall, the base services of medical labs and testing play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of individuals and populations.

HPV and PAP tests

The global HPV testing and Pap test market size was valued at USD 1.7 billion in 2020 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.4% from 2021 to 2028. Technological advancements, increasing number of cervical cancer screening programs, and high incidence of cervical cancer are some major factors driving the market for HPV testing and Pap test.

Hyperbaric oxygen

The global hyperbaric oxygen therapy market was valued at $275.1 million in 2021, and is projected to reach $457.6 million by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 5.2% from 2022 to 2031. Â Medical treatment known as hyperbaric medicine requires a pressure environment greater than the atmospheric pressure at sea level.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

The basic goal of HBOT is to increase the amount of oxygen delivered to body tissues.

To do that, the number of oxygen molecules in each unit of air has to be increased; this is accomplished by increasing the atmospheric pressure. When the number of oxygen molecules in the air is increased, more oxygen reaches the lungs and absorbed into the bloodstream. Through the blood, the Oxygen is delivered to various body organs/tissues while accelerating the physiological healing processes.

In addition, by using a certain protocol of treatment crucial regenerative elements occur, such as for example proliferation and migration of stem cells to the damaged tissue.

Pre-treatment Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses magnetic fields to produce detailed images of the body, helping to find, evaluate, or monitor a cancer.

An MRI is an imaging test that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to produce detailed, computer-generated pictures of organs and tissue inside the body, including the brain and spinal column.

An MRI can be used to:

  • Find a tumor

  • Determine, in some situations, if a tumor is benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous)

  • Learn more about the stage of cancer (the size and location of the tumor)

  • Helps to plan cancer treatments, such as surgery or radiation therapy

  • Monitor a tumor’s response to treatment

Pre-treatment Computed Tomography (CT) simulation

Computed tomography (CT) scan is used to find cancer and to learn more about it. It is being used in order to check the cancer’s stage. Knowing this helps to choose the best treatment. It also helps to predict chances of recovery.

A CT scan uses an x-ray machine to create a three-dimensional picture of the inside of the body. A computer then combines these images into a detailed view that shows any abnormalities or tumors. Areas that are commonly scanned include the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, or limbs.

Using a high-speed, high-capacity computer, the CT simulator helps physicians understand the complex relationship between healthy and cancerous tissues. The information is recorded, analyzed and used to design an optimal treatment plan.

4D CT System can show tumor and normal tissue motion. The radiation oncologist and physicist tailor the radiation plan to account for movement of the target and normal tissues during treatment.
